Operation Christmas Child

Let the packing Begin!

Let’s Pack 2,600 Shoeboxes!

Operation Christmas Child is back, and First Fairhope is up for the challenge! Beginning September 20, we’re collecting shoeboxes with one big goal: pack and ship 2,600 boxes to children around the world.

This is missions you can put your hands on—and it’s a great opportunity to get the whole family involved! Parents and kids, students, Bible Study classes, small groups, friends and neighbors—grab a box (or several!) and start packing. Fill it to the brim with FUN things a child will love, then tuck personal necessities into the extra spaces. Be sure to check out our packing pointers and gift idea lists below for plenty of ideas.

And mark your calendar for our Operation Christmas Child Packing Party on November 7! We’ll come together with a BIG goal that day: pack 2,000 shoeboxes toward our 2,600-box churchwide goal. It’s always a fun, high-energy day of serving together, and there’s a place for every generation to jump in and help.

One important reminder: these aren’t simply “Merry Christmas” boxes. After leaving us, the shoeboxes begin a journey that may take weeks or months before reaching a child. Through Operation Christmas Child, each box becomes an opportunity to share joy, love and, most importantly, the hope of the Gospel.

So let’s pack them full, First Fairhope!

Pick up your boxes beginning September 20, get your family or group involved, and help us send 2,600 Gospel opportunities around the world.

Completed shoeboxes are due back at First Fairhope by November 22.
