About Our Church
We are a family of faith seeking to love God and love others because He first loved us. We are closely connected to the Baldwin Baptist Association and the Alabama Baptist Convention and Southern Baptist Convention. Why? Because we partner with these fellow Baptists to spread the Gospel to the ends of the earth by sending missionaries through the entities of the SBC.
What We Believe
First Fairhope holds to the beliefs outlined in the 2000 Baptist Faith and Message. It is available via the button for downloading and it’s content below. The constitution of First Fairhope is available on this button as well.

Our Story:
A Legacy of Faith and Service
For over 115 years, First Baptist Church Fairhope has been a beacon of hope and truth in our community. Founded in 1908, a small group of faithful believers came together with a shared mission—to worship God, grow in faith, and reach others with the gospel.
Through generations, First Fairhope has expanded its ministry, grown its campus, and deepened its impact. From enduring challenges, like the devastating fire of 2002, to celebrating seasons of growth, God has continually used this church to shine His light in Fairhope and beyond.
Today, we remain committed to the same mission that began over a century ago: to love God, love people, and make disciples—trusting Him to lead us into the future with boldness and faith.
